A member-owned naturist club, founded in 1944, on 11 acres of woodland in Yorkshire, near York. Heated outdoor pool, sauna, boules/miniten courts, shuffleboard, children's play area, a well-equipped bar with pool table/darts/table tennis, and a woodland walk; members organise themed evenings throughout the year. Pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes (10A hook-up) and two club-owned static caravans for rent (sleeping up to 5); you can also come just for the day, with a rate for single persons or couples. Entry by booking only, with prior registration and an ID check at the gate: you cannot turn up unannounced. You arrive and leave clothed; inside there is no absolute obligation to undress, except in the pool and sauna, but anyone who stays clothed without good reason may be asked to leave. Becoming a member is a long process: there is a waiting list and a quota reserved for single members. Children under 16 free; no animals (except guide dogs). Affiliated with British Naturism (BN). Those who have been rate it excellent and remember above all the warm welcome from members.

Clothing optional

Once you are within our grounds there is no absolute requirement to undress (except in the sauna and swimming pool) however, White Rose Club is a Naturist Club so any adult visitor who persistently fails to observe this convention, without just cause, may be seen as being discourteous to our naturist community and may be asked to leave.
