Clothing optional

A rural naturist resort in North Carolina, AANR-affiliated, 11 miles from Sunset Beach and 15 miles north of Myrtle Beach. 35 acres with a pond, woodland trails, a pool, hot tubs and an air-conditioned clubhouse open all year round. You can stay in a tent, on full-hook-up RV sites, in park models with two bedrooms and a kitchen, or in small A-frame cottages for two; pets are not allowed in the rental units. Nudity is compulsory in the pool and hot tubs; elsewhere it is optional. The resort describes itself as family-friendly and firmly prohibits any sexual behaviour. Those arriving alone must be approved by the office before their visit (they cannot book online), and admission takes into account a balance between men and women. The events calendar is packed: dances every Saturday night, potluck dinners, live music on holidays, plus themed events such as Oktoberfest, a barbecue contest, the WP-Olympics, "Nakie Oke" (nude karaoke) and a 5K run. Staff and guests are described as very friendly; there are some complaints about smoking and about late-night noise from regular guests.
