Clothing optional

A clothing optional resort in southern Michigan, between Battle Creek and Coldwater, under its current management since 2003. It has a private nude beach on the resort's lagoon, two heated pools (indoor and outdoor), a 12-person hot tub in the clubhouse, pickleball courts, pétanque, water volleyball, minigolf, disc golf and horseshoes. Nudity is free everywhere and required in the pool, the hot tub, on the beach and in the lagoon. It is open year-round, with a packed calendar of events: themed weekends with live bands (Memorial Day, the 4th of July with fireworks, Labor Day), the Music Fest, the Nude Olympics, a clothing-optional 5K, comedy shows, as well as big Halloween and New Year's Eve parties and clubhouse parties almost every week. Accommodation is in rental rooms and cottages or on RV and tent sites; pets are allowed (registered and on a leash) but not in buildings or rooms. The resort states that it maintains a balance between men and women, so those arriving alone would do well to phone ahead; bookings are by phone only. Minors must be accompanied by a parent. The welcome is much appreciated; recently some have reported a weed-choked pond and a neglected minigolf course.
