A member-owned naturist club, open since 1959 on more than 120 acres of countryside and woodland in eastern Indiana, an hour from Indianapolis, Dayton and Cincinnati. The heart of the place is the pool, dug by hand sixty years ago, with a shaded picnic area beside it, where people play water volleyball; around it are pickleball courts, pétanque, miniten, a games room with darts and shuffleboard, and marked woodland trails for walking or birdwatching. The calendar revolves around events such as the Bare Butts motorcycle rally and the 5 km run. You can sleep in a tent, on one of the sixteen RV sites or in one of the eight rental units, which are basic (some cabins have no bathroom). The atmosphere is that of a community of two hundred members who have known each other for years: those who are welcomed describe it as a family. Good to know: the rules are strict — no phones or cameras outside your own trailer — and more than one single male visitor reports being refused entry.
