Southern Naturally is the southernmost naturist club in the world, in the former Aparima school (Southland, New Zealand), which dates from the late 1800s and has been converted into a clubhouse. The fenced grounds have a pool, sites for caravans and motorhomes, two guest cabins and well-kept gardens visited by native birds. It is not a members-only club: anyone wishing to visit or camp must, however, contact the club in advance, because the gate stays locked when no members are on site. The location, surrounded by farms and by the Longwood and Takitimu mountains, makes it a base for exploring Fiordland and Milford Sound: hiking, fishing and hunting in the area are mentioned both on the website and by guests. The club is active all year round, with a fireplace for winter and a pool/hot tub in the warmer months.
