Seven Hotel & Wellness

Four-star hotel exclusively for gay men, with 24 rooms, part of the MOW Hotels group, in the golf course area of Maspalomas, a few minutes by taxi from the Yumbo Centre. Its heart is the large garden with the heated pool and hot tub: this is where you find the area the website calls nudist, with sunbeds around the water, but guests say you can walk around naked throughout the hotel if you wish, even in the restaurant; not everyone is happy with this, because where nudity is allowed is not clearly explained. In addition to the double rooms with terrace there are suites with a living room and two 300-square-metre villas with a private pool and separate entrance. The wellness centre has a Finnish sauna, chromotherapy showers and massages, and there is a small outdoor gym; the Abora restaurant serves a breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner, and there is a barbecue day with a DJ and live music. Non-residents can get in with a day pass, also available with lunch included. Guests particularly appreciate the staff, the care taken over the spaces and the food, and often come back; complaints are few and concern drink prices and, in the past, pool water that was not warm enough and the maintenance.
