Sandy Lane Club is a private naturist club founded in 1955, a member-owned cooperative run by volunteers, on 38 acres of woodland and sandy prairie northeast of Hutchinson, Kansas. Family-friendly and explicitly non-sexual, it welcomes families, couples and singles (the latter must hold an AANR card). Nudity is the rule on the club grounds, weather and health permitting; photos and videos are forbidden. Almost a mile of trails runs through woods populated by wild turkeys, deer and owls. Facilities include an above-ground pool, an all-season hot tub, a clubhouse with kitchen, a volleyball court, mini golf, bocce and fibre wifi; during the season there are shared buffet dinners (pot lucks) about once a month. Accommodation is in a rental cabin, RV sites with 30A and water hookups, or tent sites. Visits by reservation only, at weekends, with a request form and a copy of your driving licence sent before arrival for a background check. Pets allowed on a lead.
