Accommodation run as a small family business in Charco del Palo, the naturist village on the north-east coast of Lanzarote: the properties are named after Reyes, a woman from Lanzarote who welcomes the guests, while Ana looks after bookings and questions. There is a detached villa right on the seafront, with a palm garden, for four people; bungalows on the sea or with sea views, for two or four; new houses for two whose front wall is made entirely of sliding glass; and apartments for four about two hundred metres from the sea, with views of the volcanic interior. All have a kitchen, wifi and a terrace or outdoor space. The website sets no rules on nudity: it speaks of an area that is naturist by tradition, and it is the village that sets the tone, with the natural pools among the rocks not far away; the village is mixed, and some of the guests are not naturists. Those who have stayed here mainly remember the quiet, the view and the attentiveness of the people who run it, though some find the villa a little dated; it is a place to rest, and in the evening all you can hear is the sea. The village has a small supermarket and a few restaurants, but a car is recommended, as the bus stop is three kilometres away. The area lends itself to walking, swimming and diving.
