Penn Sylvan (PSHS Inc.) is a family naturist resort in Pennsylvania Dutch Country, on more than 130 acres, active since 1938 (one of the oldest family-run nudist clubs in the United States). The rules are clear-cut: it is a nudist camp, not clothing optional, with nudity compulsory in the sunning area and in all pools, an absolute ban on photography and zero tolerance for sexual behaviour. It is open year-round for camping and sunbathing, with an outdoor pool in the warm season and, for winter, an indoor pool (water volleyball on Sundays), an indoor hot tub and sauna; in winter it organises parties and events when many clubs in the area close. It offers motel rooms, cabins and sites for tents/trailers/RVs. A wide choice of field sports: tennis, volleyball, pickleball, pétanque, badminton, shuffleboard, Mölkky and ladder golf. Open to families, couples and singles, with dedicated day rates for singles too. There is no permanent food service (only during some events): you bring your own food or eat out. Pets are allowed in common areas on a leash, but not in buildings, at the pool or in the sunning area.
