Pineglades Naturist Club Inc.

A long-established naturist club (active since at least the 1950s–60s) on an 8-hectare landscaped property in Rolleston, 20 km south of Christchurch. A rose garden with a fountain, an arboretum with native plants and bush walks for birdwatching. A clubhouse with table tennis, darts, a library, a lounge with fireplace and TV, a licensed bar (weekend afternoons and social evenings), and free WiFi across most of the grounds. A 15x6m solar-heated pool with a shaded sunbathing area, and a spa/sauna open year-round. A covered barbecue area, a small shop with ice creams, a children's playground (slides, swings, trampoline, sandpit), courts for miniten, volleyball, tennikoit and pétanque; in summer, a calendar of parties and social and sporting events. 4 cabins (baches) for rent with linen included, plus powered sites for caravans/motorhomes/tents, two amenity blocks with showers, a laundry and equipped kitchens. A volunteer-run, members-only club: non-members, including those coming alone, are admitted as visitors only by phoning the caretaker at least 24 hours in advance and showing photo ID on arrival; INF/NZNF members pay reduced rates. Children under 17 go free, and it is described as family-friendly and very well liked.
