A single self-contained studio, with private bathroom and a kitchenette without a stove, in the home of Jeff and Judy, the founders of Living Waters Spa, a long-established clothing optional hotel in Desert Hot Springs. The house sits high in the hills above the Coachella Valley, with views of the mountains and San Jacinto; the studio is decorated with large art-glass windows. The solar-heated pool, hot tub and courtyard are clothing optional and shared with the owners, who live on site; on request they also give massages. Bookings are through Airbnb; adults only, no pets and no visitors. Almost all guests are delighted with it and remember the peace and quiet, the views at sunrise and sunset and the hosts' welcome: it is accommodation for a couple looking for rest, not a resort.
