Orchard Sun Club

Naturist club (now presenting itself as Orchard Naturist Park) in a former 2.8-hectare orchard in Sutton, 5 km south of Middlemarch, in inland Otago (New Zealand), the southern hub of the famous Otago Rail Trail. It offers accommodation in a 5-bedroom house with shared bathrooms, a separate cabin with a double bed, sheltered pitches among the trees for tents, caravans and motorhomes, an indoor pool and spa pool, sauna, social room, BBQ area, pétanque and miniten courts, and a 9-hole pitch-and-putt course (Rock 'n' Pine Golf Course). Accommodation must be booked, and day visits are also arranged in advance. It is an excellent base for the Otago Rail Trail cycle route and for excursions in the Rock and Pillar Range, as well as nearby Lake Sutton. Visitors, a few years ago now, describe a small, quiet place among schist outcrops, with welcoming members.
