A small adults-only naturist hotel in Esquinzo, in the south of Fuerteventura, run by a German family. It has 45 apartments with a separate bedroom, kitchenette and terrace or balcony, some with ocean views, scattered across a well-kept garden of palms and bougainvillea around a large seawater pool with sauna; massages and physiotherapy can also be booked on site, and there is a partner diving school. A private path leads down in a couple of minutes to a long beach of pale sand very popular with naturists, where you can walk for kilometres towards Costa Calma or Morro Jable. Reception, bar and restaurant (breakfast, half board, Spanish evening) are shared with the neighbouring Marina Playa hotel, which is run together with it. Those who have stayed describe a quiet place with a family atmosphere, frequented mainly by guests over 50, and find the gardens and paths in excellent condition after the recent renovation work; the most frequently reported weak points are the competition for sunloungers around the pool, the cold pool water in winter, the lack of air conditioning and the few restaurants within walking distance, so a car is advisable. On some days the wind can make the beach hard to enjoy.
