Mi Kasa Hot Springs

A small adults-only (21+) hotel with natural hot spring water in Desert Hot Springs, in the desert above Palm Springs, where clothing is optional throughout the property. It has about ten rooms, some with a private hot-spring tub on the patio, and an enclosed courtyard with a mineral water pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a cold plunge, hammocks, an outdoor kitchen and barbecue; you can also come with a day pass, and dogs are accepted, with a dedicated area. The manager points out that it is not a place for swingers or exhibitionists and that any public sexual activity is forbidden. There is no staffed front desk: access codes are sent by text message. Recent visitors speak of a quiet, clean and sociable oasis, frequented by regulars, mostly middle-aged; criticisms concern the difficulty of reaching a person by phone, some breakdowns and a few studios without windows.
