The Manchester Sun & Air Society has its grounds, called Springfield, in the Cheshire countryside at Lower Peover, near Knutsford: seventeen acres owned by the members since 1948, with woodland, natural ponds and meadows. It is a family naturist club that also welcomes holiday guests: there are two level fields for tents, caravans and motorhomes with serviced pitches, and a chalet for rent, Fox Cottage. At the centre is a large pavilion for evenings and indoor activities, then a heated outdoor pool with sauna, lawn bowls and pétanque, a children's playground and woodland paths around the ponds, where plenty of wildlife can be seen. Friday is pizza night and Saturday brings the communal barbecue, and the club's social calendar includes disco or live music evenings, quizzes, karaoke and themed dinners. The rules ask for discretion and respect, forbid photos and allow dogs kept under control. Guests, without exception, describe it as a quiet, clean and very welcoming place. Camping runs from March to the end of October.
