Naturist (policy unspecified)

A naturist club affiliated with the New Zealand Naturist Federation, on a large, secluded rural property north of Foxton, convenient for Whanganui, Palmerston North and Wellington: about an hour and a half from the ferry terminal for the South Island and 6 minutes from State Highway 1, it also makes a good stopover. The club states that it welcomes visitors from other New Zealand or overseas clubs; rates distinguish between members (including NZNF/INF card holders) and "others". Powered and unpowered sites for tents, caravans and campervans, and a bach (cabin) with a double bed, kitchen and linen. The clubhouse has a well-equipped kitchen available to visitors and campers; pool, spa pool, children's pool and play area, board games and outdoor games for all ages. Roughly every month there is a social event (happy hour with shared dinner, quiz and pizza nights, midwinter dinner, midwinter swim). Pets allowed (maximum two per site), kept away from the clubhouse and pool, with a large area at the back where dogs can run free. To visit, you must first contact the public relations officer. Guests are unanimous in praising the welcome and the quiet atmosphere.
