A naturist campsite on a small family farm in the North Cornwall countryside, near Jacobstow, about ten minutes from the Bude coast. It has welcomed naturists since the early 1990s: it was started by the parents of the current owner, who now runs it together with the farm. Twenty pitches across three fields surrounded by tall Cornish hedges, some with electric hook-up, plus a "wild" camping area without power and a static caravan for rent; within the campsite you can be naked everywhere. Facilities are basic (toilets and showers, laundry, a shared fridge, a small room with books and games), and in the evening people gather around a barbecue made from a bathtub; the farm sells its own eggs, meat and vegetables. Families and children are welcome, and so are dogs, which is rare at naturist campsites, and those who stay stress the peace and cleanliness, as well as the warden's welcome. It is open all year round and hosts gatherings of several naturist clubs; when the wind is blowing, music from the nearby concert venue The Wyldes can carry until late in the evening. It is a good base for the South West Coast Path and the beaches of the north coast.
