One of the oldest naturist clubs in the United Kingdom, active since 1933 on the same ten-acre site in Whiston, between Liverpool and Widnes. It is a club run entirely by volunteer members, with a heated outdoor pool (nudity compulsory in the water), a sauna on Friday evenings, a hot tub, tennis and miniten courts, a games room and a busy calendar of social events. Day visitors are welcome after registering and phoning ahead, and there are pitches with electricity for caravans and motorhomes plus space for around twenty tents; the 40 chalets and 20 static caravans are privately owned by members. No pets (except guide dogs). People speak almost unanimously of a warm welcome that puts even newcomers at ease: the atmosphere is that of a friendly English social club, well kept and cared for.
