A small complex of white and blue apartments right on the oceanfront, in Charco del Palo, the naturist village on the north-east coast of Lanzarote. The units range from 26 to 58 square metres: the Casa del Sol ones have a living room and separate bedroom, the Jardín ones are smaller but with a large terrace, and one has two bedrooms for four people. There is a kitchenette with a hob and microwave but no oven, air conditioning and wifi; a cot is available on request. Shared facilities include a pool, the barbecue and the boules court, while a few steps away is the natural pool among the rocks, which fills with the tide; there is no sandy beach in the immediate vicinity. In the village people go naked almost everywhere, with clothes only in shops and at the restaurant. Those who come back, and there are many, appreciate the view, the silence and the hands-on management; others find the units spartan and the welcome lacking in care. There is no nightlife: just a few venues, which close early. This is a place for those seeking quiet, not company, and a hire car is necessary.
