Nudity required

A large cooperative nudist resort north of Tampa, Florida: two hundred acres of natural parkland that include a 35-acre private lake with a beach, a 111-acre protected area with trails, and the sports facilities of a real club — five clay tennis courts, four pickleball courts, four pétanque courts, beach and grass volleyball, a driving range and chipping course, a gym, a billiards room and a recreation hall. At the centre are a large heated pool, a hot tub and a sauna, plus the Bare Buns Café and the Butt Hutt Bar on the lake. You can stay in cabins with kitchens, motel rooms, RV sites or tent sites; it is also a residential community with properties for sale. Pets are allowed for a fee. The calendar is packed (acroyoga festivals, volleyball tournaments, the "Dare to Go Bare 5K" run, arts and music festivals). Affiliated with AANR, it welcomes day visitors subject to a procedure for newcomers. Recent visitors are full of praise for the welcome and the activities; a minority mention price rises, stricter management after the change of board and a gender imbalance among guests. The resort states that it welcomes singles, couples and families regardless of gender identity and orientation; for everyone, however, the first visit must be arranged by phone, starts with a guided tour and requires a criminal background check, for which a US Social Security number is needed. Nudity is required in the pool, hot tub and sauna and expected everywhere in good weather; the bar is for over-21s only.
