A historic naturist club in the woods of northeastern Washington, open since 1939 in the hills near Loon Lake, an hour from Spokane. It is open only in summer, from late May to early September, and it is not clothing optional: nudity is the norm, except when weather, health or safety suggest otherwise. The heart of social life is the heated pool, around which the whole camp gathers; around it there are conifer woods with trails to walk, a clubhouse with ten rooms for rent upstairs, RV and tent sites with water and power, and seasonal sites for those who stay the whole summer. This is the place that invented the Bare Buns Fun Run, the 5K run done without clothes (cancelled for the 2026 edition). Access is through a locked gate: you have to call the office before setting off to get the code, and phone coverage in the area is poor. Guests describe a long-established club, very informal and friendly, but with dated buildings and facilities; in the 2026 season the pool and hot tub are reported closed.
