A small naturist campsite on a wooded point of the island of Hvar, a kilometre from the fishing village of Vrboska, with about 800 metres of rocky and pebbly shoreline reserved for naturists and views across the channel towards the island of Brač. There is no rental accommodation: you come with a tent, caravan or motorhome, the pitches lie under the pines right by the water, and the campsite holds up to about 470 guests. The facilities are basic — an à la carte restaurant, a minimarket, sanitary blocks, electrical hookups, fridges for hire — and those who arrive expecting the standard of the large naturist villages in Istria are disappointed: over the years the cleanliness of the toilets has been the most criticised point, although guests have lately judged it improved. The restaurant, on the other hand, is consistently appreciated, as are the shade of the pines across the whole site and the sociable atmosphere. One drawback mentioned by several German guests is a construction site that has been open nearby for years, with noise even at weekends; another is the reception being closed in the afternoon. There is plenty to explore around: the naturist beach on the islet of Zečevo, reachable by boat, the coves of Soline and Maslinica, and a cycle path linking the nearby villages.
