A 110-acre naturist campground set in the woods near Jay, in northwest Florida, affiliated with the AANR. It is a nudist camp, not a clothing-optional one: on the grounds everyone is expected to be nude, except when it is cold or while working, and swinging is not allowed. The heart of the camp is the Blue Moon Lagoon, a spring-fed man-made lagoon with a white-sand beach, a water slide and water volleyball. There are lakeside tent and RV sites (with water and electricity), plus a studio and a cabin for rent. Trails, canoeing, kayaking and pedal boats, and fishing in the lake; golf carts can also be rented. Social life is lively: a community bonfire on Friday and Saturday nights, DJ and karaoke on Saturdays, potlucks and a calendar of parties and events (a 5K run and a fall festival, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, New Year's Eve). Singles are welcomed like everyone else (“behaviour counts, not marital status”); day visits without a reservation are possible, and everyone undergoes a background check on arrival. Minors are allowed only during a specific period of the year, and under-21s must be accompanied by a parent. Dogs are allowed on a leash. It is a rustic, secluded place, and guests praise the managers.
