Glen Eden Sun Club is one of the great historic naturist clubs in the United States: founded in 1963 and member-owned, it covers 154 acres of hills with oaks and chaparral at the foot of the Cleveland National Forest, halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego. More than a campground, it is a small community: many permanent residents, 52 RV sites with hookups, tent areas under the oaks and around ten park models for rent. At its heart are three heated pools (one indoor), two hot tubs, a sauna, a gym open 24 hours, tennis and pickleball courts, a cafe open Thursday to Sunday and a clubhouse where every weekend there are DJs, live bands, karaoke and dinners. Trails that can be walked nude start on site and climb up to the ridges, with access on request to the national forest trails. The club is explicitly family-oriented and not "lifestyle": children are welcome, rules of conduct are strict, and first visits are only by guided tour by appointment, with a background check. The atmosphere is described as welcoming, clean and safe, with a generally mature and very active crowd; criticism mainly concerns how rigidly the office applies the admission rules, not the facility itself.

Nudity required

Glen Eden is a nudist club. We encourage you to explore the world of social nudism here and shed any anxiety you may have about being nude along with your clothes. Of course, if it's chilly or if you'd like to minimize sun exposure, we understand if you cover up. The exception being when entering the pools and hot tub areas, which are designated for nude use only.
