A large, family-friendly naturist resort in Kissimmee, Florida, on 300 acres that include a 50-acre lake, 20 acres of recreational areas and 130 acres of protected wetlands. It offers 84 villa-style rooms/apartments, a campground/RV park and a residential community, as well as two heated pools, hot tubs, a white-sand beach, a 9-hole golf course, pickleball and tennis courts, a gym, a salon with massages, canoeing/kayaking/pedal boats on the lake and two restaurants (Lakeside Restaurant and Cheeks Bar & Grill), with a packed calendar of themed evenings, karaoke, live music and big weekends such as Parrothead Weekend and the Nude-A-Palooza festival. Nudity is welcome everywhere, including at the restaurant and evening events, and is required in the pools and hot tubs, where swimsuits are not allowed. It is a members' club, but you can also come just for the day without being a member; single men on their first visit, however, must hold a card from a naturist organisation or have previous naturist experience (a nude beach alone is not enough), a condition suspended during the July Open House and the October Nude-A-Palooza. Pets are allowed only in designated villas. It is also home to the American Nudist Research Library, the historical archive of the American naturist movement. Opinions are very positive; among the few criticisms are the rule on single men and a clientele perceived as rather elderly.
