Croft Country Club is a family naturist campsite founded in the early 1990s in the flat Fens, near Wisbech, between Cambridgeshire and Norfolk: a level landscape of open fields, convenient for Ely, Cambridge, Sandringham and the naturist beach at Holkham. It has around sixty pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, two wooden lodges for rent (one wheelchair accessible), a small glamping unit for two and a camping pod where dogs are also allowed, all on very well-kept lawns. For socialising there are two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, a hot tub, a sauna, a games room, minigolf, pétanque and shuffleboard, and a disco in the clubhouse every Saturday, as well as live concerts during the season. It describes itself as a "pure" naturist club: in the pool, sauna and hot tub you are always naked, but newcomers get three visits in which they may stay dressed. Recent guests speak of a warm welcome from the manager, spotless facilities and quiet nights; it is suitable for families and well-behaved dogs. Fees include a seasonal rate for a single member. The season runs from late March to late September or early October.
