Six apartments owned by a single owner, Simone, inside the Castillo de Papagayo, a small complex of around twenty units reserved for naturists in the heart of Charco del Palo, the naturist village on the north-east coast of Lanzarote. The apartments have two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace; four are on the first floor with ocean views, and one on the ground floor has a small private garden. The white buildings in César Manrique style surround a freshwater pool with a lawn, sun loungers and a giant chessboard; the sea, with its natural pools among the lava rocks, is about 170 metres away, and the village's minimarket, bars and restaurant are just a few steps away. Check-in and check-out are self-service, with access codes. Pets are not allowed, while for little ones every apartment has a cot. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, the well-kept garden and the owner's helpfulness, and describe a quiet atmosphere that also suits first-time naturists; some find the pool cool outside the hottest hours. Other operators also rent out apartments in the same complex.
