Detached villa in the hills of Montserrat, half an hour's drive from Valencia and 35 minutes from the beaches, where the owners, Helmut and Elly, live and let two units for two people: the 49-square-metre Studio, below the house, with a full kitchen and a veranda enclosed by mosquito screens, and the 33-square-metre Loft on the upper floor, with a balcony and only a kitchenette. Outside is a fenced 3,000-square-metre garden with a heated pool measuring ten metres by five, open from May to October and shared with the other guests and the owners; there are also a sauna for a fee, a barbecue and some gym equipment. In the pool and the garden everyone chooses whether to be nude or dressed. Entry is from age 16, dogs are accepted by prior arrangement at three euros a day, and the minimum stay is three nights. The path to the village starts from the house, and shops and bars are a quarter of an hour's walk away; around it there are walking and cycling routes, while waterfalls and small lakes are a 25-minute drive away. Guests talk above all about the owners' welcome and the calm of the place.
