Guesthouse for gay men only, created and run by a couple, Claudio and Paul, on the edge of the Garraf park: a 2,000-square-metre property among pine trees, 6 km from Sitges and 45 minutes from Barcelona, with sea views. There are just four suites with bathrooms, plus a self-contained studio with a kitchen, and it is easiest to get there by car. Nudity is allowed only around the 11-by-5-metre pool and in the sunbathing areas, where nobody is obliged to undress; in the indoor shared spaces people stay dressed. The feel is that of a quiet home, far removed from a party hotel: the management says so clearly, and some who have stayed report that it is not a place for casual encounters but somewhere to chat with the other guests at breakfast, served on the terrace, and then keep to yourself. It also suits solo travellers, as well as couples and friends. Massages and private yoga lessons are available for a fee, and the property organises yoga and tantra retreats. No pets. Guests particularly appreciate the hosts, the breakfast, the cleanliness and the garden.
