Naturism in Croatia: laws and customs →
Clothing optional

One of the historic names of European naturism: a large FKK village on a green peninsula at the mouth of the Lim Channel, a few kilometres north of Rovinj, in Istria. More than four kilometres of naturist beaches between pebble bays and flat rocks, a lagoon, pools (including an infinity pool overlooking the sea), its own marina for those arriving by boat, and the full range of a self-sufficient small town: restaurants, a brewery pub with its own beer, shops, sauna and Turkish bath, fitness, daily entertainment, live music in the evening and excursions. You stay in terraced bungalows set in greenery, apartments, mobile homes or large pitches, from early May to late September. The rules forbid being dressed on the beach and at the pools, leave the choice free on your own pitch, and ask guests to cover up at reception, in the shops and in the designated indoor areas. Those arriving alone are admitted only with the Valalta Loyalty Card. Pets are not allowed. It is a large and very busy resort: recent guests appreciate its cleanliness, friendliness and facilities, while criticism concerns the prices (day entry for visitors, bars and restaurants), the ban on scooters and, according to some regulars, a growing share of guests who stay dressed even on the beach. Suited to families and to those looking for "resort" naturism with every comfort.
