A members-run naturist club, founded in 1935, set in 25 acres of secluded woodland near Norwich (Norfolk), a stone's throw from the Norfolk Broads. It is mainly a club for couples and families (over 250 members) that also welcomes visiting naturists and those who want to try it for the first time; the rule is to be naked when weather and circumstances permit. Solo travellers are accepted as holiday guests (minimum two nights) but not for day visits, which are reserved for couples holding a British Naturism card. Heated indoor pool in a greenhouse, fishing pond, miniten, badminton, pétanque and volleyball courts, games room, woodland walk and a small honesty-box café; during the season there are evenings and social events, including discos. 25 pitches for tents, motorhomes and caravans and three static caravans for rent, one of them for guests with pets; dogs are welcome but not in communal areas. Children under 18 stay free. Open from March to October. The club is highly rated, especially for the helpfulness of its volunteers, its cleanliness and its welcoming atmosphere.
