Clothing optional

Large clothing-optional resort of over 140 acres on a mountainside in the West Virginia panhandle, less than two hours from Washington DC and Baltimore. Run as a gated community, it offers sites for tents and RVs/caravans (with water, electricity and sewer), condos for rent and new log cabins. The range of facilities is very wide: a seasonal outdoor pool, an indoor pool with an opening roof, two outdoor hot tubs and one indoor, a dry sauna, a gym, tennis and pickleball courts, beach volleyball and water volleyball, a catch-and-release fishing pond, hiking trails, and the "Bare Barn" event area with a bar, snack bar and stage for shows. Nudity is not imposed in the rest of the resort, but it is required in the pools, hot tubs and sauna. Day rates are designed for both singles and couples, with a discount for those who are already AANR or TNS members. The resort is mostly well regarded: guests like the welcome and the weekend events calendar, while criticism mainly concerns dated facilities and the way the office is run.
