Naturism in New Zealand: laws and customs →
Nudity required

A 26-acre naturist club in West Auckland, among well-kept lawns and native bush. Powered and unpowered sites for tents, caravans and motorhomes, and cabins for rent (linen included, maximum 7 nights). Two spa pools, a sauna and a saltwater pool, a bush walk, areas for kubb, mini-tennis, pétanque, bowls, frisbee golf and volleyball, a gym, a bar with kitchen at weekends and a clubhouse with fireplace. For children there is a play area, a trampoline and a dedicated pool: the club describes itself as family-friendly and accompanied minors pay nothing. There is a social event every month (Christmas, Halloween, Easter) and the biggest of the year is the Oranui Games; bingo in winter, barbecues on Wednesdays in summer. Newcomers may stay dressed while they settle in, but they are expected to undress when the weather allows. It is run by volunteers as a non-profit organisation and affiliated to NZNF and INF: to book a cabin or site, the club may ask for an NZNF/INF card or one from an affiliated club. Day visits must be arranged in advance (with a fee) and are not unlimited; after 3 visits you can apply to become a member.
