Wrenbrook Naturist Retreat

A rustic naturist campground in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, about 65 km west of Casino, near Tabulam: 150 acres of bush and pasture on a gentle slope, with well-kept lawns and views over the valley's wooded hills. It has been run for almost fifteen years by the same hosts, today Byron and Anecia. Nudity is the rule, weather permitting, except for children: it is not a clothing-optional place. Singles, couples and families of every orientation are welcome and you don't need to be a club member, but bookings are by phone only, day visits included. Accommodation is in two cabins for two people, a rental caravan or on powered or unpowered sites, and continental breakfast is available on request. Shared facilities include a pool with spa, a small par-3 golf course with loan equipment, a large games room with billiards, table tennis, darts and a fireplace, an equipped kitchen and two amenities blocks, one with a double outdoor shower. Bush trails lead from the property to some caves, and birdwatching is one of the pastimes. The atmosphere is convivial, with dinners and themed evenings during the year (medieval night, Melbourne Cup, Christmas lunch, New Year). Those who have stayed almost always speak of it enthusiastically, stressing the hosts' welcome and the friendliness of the regular guests. Pets are allowed except cats, but not in the cabins or near the kitchen and tables.
