Dedicated naturist area

A family campsite on an 1880 farm in north-east Öland, overlooking the Baltic and bordering the Högenäs orde nature reserve. It is an ordinary campsite, with an open meadow for tents, caravans and motorhomes, cabins and a hostel, but it also has a naturist section, which the website presents as the first at a commercial campsite in Sweden: an area of pitches without cabins, set slightly apart, with its own path that crosses a wetland rich in birdlife and leads to a small sandy naturist beach, from where you can continue along the reserve's coastline. The section has electricity, water and dry toilets; for showers and washrooms you get dressed, because the facilities building is in the textile part. Since 2013 the rainbow flag has flown over the campsite, and between late June and mid-July there are LGBTQI weeks with evening barbecues open to everyone. There is also a quiet adults-only area, a dog beach and, in summer, fresh bread every morning. Guests like it for the peace and quiet and for the managers; in 2026 facilities were reduced because of construction work on the new building. Every year, on the weekend after Midsummer, a naturist race is run in the reserve.

Dedicated naturist area
The result of the project is that Wikegård, as the first commercial campsite in Sweden, has a part of the campsite that is a naturist campsite. This scenic part lies a little apart from the rest of the textile campsite. The naturist section has its own path leading to a newly built naturist bathing area. [...] To go to the service building with the other facilities you have to put on something simple to wear, as the building is located in the textile part of the campsite.
