The Village Naturiste of Cap d'Agde is an entire district of the seaside resort, not a single establishment: residences, hotels, a large campsite, small marinas, shops, restaurants and bars facing a long sandy beach, all within a fenced perimeter. You enter through the reception service at the Rond-point du Bagnas with a paid personal pass, valid for the length of your stay, and the rules require full nudity and prohibit photographing and filming. You stay by choosing among the many operators inside, from rental agencies and hotels to the René Oltra campsite and the Cap d'Agde Resort, which have their own listings in our directory. It is one of the most famous naturist destinations in Europe and also one of the most debated: alongside families and long-standing naturists, the village is known for its nightlife and for a very visible libertine scene, with dedicated venues and evenings. Recent visitors appreciate the beach and the sense of freedom, but complain about high prices, dated facilities, an unfriendly welcome at the entrance and a growing number of people who are clothed or have come only to look. Those looking for quiet, family-oriented naturism usually do better elsewhere, or at least outside the high season.
