A historic naturist village in southern Corsica, running for more than fifty years on a sixty-hectare promontory of maquis a few minutes from Porto-Vecchio, overlooking the Cerbicale Islands. It has its own coves and beaches, two pools with sea views (one 27 metres long and a smaller heated one, both accessible to people with reduced mobility and supervised), morning aqua aerobics, yoga, a kids' club, a restaurant and bistro, and an on-site diving centre — the Hippocampe club, since 1981 — which takes divers into the Bonifacio Strait nature reserve; there are also water sports and horse riding. Accommodation is in bungalows of various categories (many air-conditioned), villas or camping pitches. Nudity is compulsory on the beach, at the pool and in the toilet blocks, and "strongly recommended" in the rest of the village: guest accounts reflect this ambiguity, with some complaining that naturism is little practised (clothed staff, requests to cover up at the restaurant and the shop) and others, on the contrary, reporting being reprimanded for not being nude. Open from 1 May to 17 October.
