A member-run naturist club in the forest of Mount Fromme, above North Vancouver, with views over the city and the North Shore mountains: three hectares of woodland, meadows and gardens, reachable only by appointment beyond a locked gate. Founded in 1939, it describes itself as the oldest nudist club in Canada. It is a rustic "off-the-grid" property, with no clubhouse or RV hook-ups, with solar composting toilets, a wood-fired sauna, a hot tub and a pond for cooling off; drinking and cooking water must be brought from home. Visitors must be announced by email at least 24 hours in advance; children under 19 must be accompanied by a parent. Club life follows a busy calendar of community events: convivial lunches, themed evenings, informal sing-alongs and group overnight stays, plus the tradition of a free visit on your birthday. Affiliated with AANR, it was also featured in the CBC documentary "Nude to Me".
