A small naturist campsite in the heart of the Alentejo, between Messejana and Aljustrel, run by Jorge and Helder: thirty pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes (twenty with electricity) in open countryside, where the main strength is the silence. There is an outdoor pool with massage jets and a small waterfall — nudity is compulsory throughout the pool area — a snack bar with a terrace facing the sunset, lounge corners and barbecues; for dinner you can order simple dishes or, by booking the day before, a more elaborate meal. At night the Alentejo sky, free of light pollution, is a show in itself. Car traffic on site is kept to a minimum and only biodegradable chemicals are allowed. Pets accepted. Those who have stayed speak very highly of it, citing cleanliness, a multilingual welcome and an atmosphere of total relaxation; it is a deliberately rustic place, not a resort. Booking is recommended: the access road is unpaved and can be challenging when it rains.
