Clothing optional

A small family naturist campground set in almost 500 acres of woodland and hilly farmland in the Madawaska Highlands, an hour and a half west of Ottawa (Ontario). The heart of the place is a private, secluded spring-fed lake, where nudity is always required; on the rest of the property clothing is optional. The campground is deliberately basic ("rough camping"): tents or small campers only, no electricity or sewer hookups, tent platforms, toilets, hot showers and a sauna. Open daily from June to Labour Day, then on warm weekends until Canadian Thanksgiving. Families, couples and singles are all explicitly welcome, as are well-behaved children and pets. Opinions are excellent, frequently mentioning the beauty of the lake and the warm welcome for first-time naturists.
