A member-run naturist club founded in 1962 at Hovea, in the Western Australian bush, 40 minutes from Perth and a stone's throw from John Forrest National Park. It offers chalets, caravan and camping sites, a swimming pool, tennis courts, miniten, badminton and volleyball, a clubhouse with a hall for dances and games and a clubhouse for children, and an active social calendar all year round (parties, dances, games). It is open all year and presents itself as a family club, not a swingers' venue. Visitors are welcome by compulsory booking (Western Australian residents may come at most five times before having to join), with reduced rates for members of other ANF/INF clubs; there is a quota for singles, currently full for men. Dogs are allowed on a lead. Impressions are mostly good; criticisms include unclear booking arrangements for occasional visitors and, recently, a couple with dogs who felt watched by some members.
