Grounds of a naturist club active since 1960 in the hills of Aeugst am Albis, about twenty minutes' drive from Zurich and a quarter of an hour from Zug, in a rural area that is partly protected. From the slope, on clear days, you can see the Rigi, Pilatus and the Alps of Central Switzerland and the Bernese Alps; for the same reason the grounds are not well suited to people with walking difficulties. Everything is geared to club life: a pool, lawns and shady corners, pétanque, table tennis, giant garden chess, a communal grill and a small self-service bistro. Members camp in caravans, motorhomes or tents or sleep in the farmhouse; visitors from outside who hold an INF card or belong to a Swiss naturist club will find a few pitches and some rooms in the house, to be arranged in advance because the reception is not always staffed; those without a card yet can try a three-visit trial pass, requested by sending an identity document. There are also rates for solo visitors, both for a tent pitch and for a single room. Nudity is the rule, with the freedom to cover up when it's cool; the pool is nude only. Those who have been there speak of a friendly welcome, of flowers, butterflies and above all a great deal of peace. No animals, and smoking only in designated areas.
