Soléa Lodges

Four self-contained lodges (La Caouanne, Les Puffins, L'Hippocampe and La Cahute, a hut among the trees with an outdoor shower and sea view) scattered around a garden of about 3000 m² overlooking the sea, in the Héliopolis naturist domaine on the Île du Levant; they are run by Alain and Jean-Michel. It is not a hotel: each lodge has a private terrace, kitchen, bathroom and Wi-Fi and you look after yourself, but shared facilities include a swimming pool heated to 28 °C, an outdoor lounge, a fitness corner and, in season, yoga and massages, all with a view of the Mediterranean. The place is all about silence and slowness: it appeals to people who want to switch off, write or work remotely, including for long stays out of season. It is open all year round except for La Cahute, which has no air conditioning and opens from May to September. From April to mid-October bookings are for at least a week, Saturday to Saturday; for the rest of the year two nights are enough. Nudity is not compulsory inside your own lodge, but it is the spirit of the place. Dogs are allowed, provided they are kept under control in the shared areas. The village, shops, paths and swimming spots can all be reached on foot. Those who have stayed particularly appreciate the terraces above the sea, the sunsets and the hosts' welcome; some find the accommodation simple, but with everything you need.
