A naturist campsite in the heart of Värmland, open since 1970 and run by the region's naturist club. It overlooks a lake with a gently shelving bottom, which makes it convenient for families with small children too, and all around is the Swedish forest: you can go mushroom picking a stone's throw from the pitches. You can stay in a cabin, a caravan, a motorhome or a tent. The facilities are simple but well kept — this is what comes up most often in guests' opinions, together with the friendliness of the staff. The site presents itself as "the warmest naturist campsite in Sweden", which in the Swedish climate is both a bold promise and a joke. It is a place for people coming to naturism for the first time without quite knowing what to expect: the club places great emphasis on welcoming beginners and on the idea that people come here to be at peace, not to show off.
