Four independent naturist holiday homes (Casa Arco-Íris for 2-5 people and three houses or studios for 2 people, including the wooden Casa Rio Mira) on a hill on the Alentejo Coast, overlooking the Atlantic, run by the Pronk family. Shared pool, sauna and jacuzzi, and a naturist "barefoot path" that crosses a pine wood down to a small lake. Ayurvedic massages by appointment. It is above all a place to rest: houses set well apart with plenty of privacy, away from the public road (the last stretch of the access road is unpaved). The area is a starting point for hiking (Rota Vicentina, five waymarked trails), mountain biking, canoeing on the Mira river, surfing and visits to the nearby naturist beaches and the coastal villages (Zambujeira do Mar, Porto Covo). Children allowed (extra charge for a bed/high chair on request). Open from mid-February to the end of October, with high season from April to October; minimum stay of 3 nights. Opinions are almost always enthusiastic, praising the privacy, the quiet and the hosts' welcome.
