Rutar Lido FKK See- und Bädercamping

A fifteen-hectare naturist holiday village in southern Carinthia, between the Klopeiner See and the Karawanks mountains, on the Slovenian border. It is one of the few FKK facilities in the Alps open all year round: in summer life is spent outdoors, between the bathing pond, the fishing pond and the pools surrounded by shade trees; in winter it moves into the hotel building, with an indoor pool, Finnish sauna, salt-stone bio-sauna, infrared cabin and massage chair. The campsite has over three hundred and sixty pitches bordered by hedges and trees, of one hundred square metres or more, many with water and drainage, with four sanitary blocks; two separate sections with fifty-five pitches are reserved for those travelling with a dog, which here has its own pond and two dedicated showers. Those without their own vehicle can rent a mobile home, one of the twenty holiday homes on the grounds or an apartment in the hotel building, renovated in 2018-19, which also houses the reception, the village shop and common rooms. You can take a seasonal or annual pitch and leave a caravan or mobile home on site all year, which several guests do on a permanent basis. Activities include archery, boules, Stocksport (Bavarian curling) and naturist walks; nearby are the Trogerner Klamm gorge and Mount Petzen. In summer the poolside restaurant accompanies dinners with entertainment evenings, and on the grounds there are also mini golf, family tennis and an outdoor skittle alley. For solo travellers the price list includes two "single" studios in the hotel. Even recently the staff and the informal atmosphere are still appreciated, but several regular guests note that the sanitary facilities are showing their age.
