Riva Bella Thalasso & Spa Resort

A 70-hectare naturist domaine right on the sea on the east coast of Corsica, near Aléria, halfway between Bastia and Porto-Vecchio. A 4-star resort with a long naturist beach with direct access, shallow clear water, shaded pitches in the maquis and a large range of accommodation — villas, bungalows, chalets and mobile homes, many of them eco-designed, some right on the beach in a car-free zone — plus a thalasso spa with seawater and a sauna. Open all year round, with naturist rules from 1 April to 5 November: on the beach complete nudity is mandatory for adults, while in the shop and at the bar-restaurant you are asked to cover up at least with a sarong or towel. There is a free sports programme for adults (yoga, sea fitness, pilates, Nordic walking), a kids' club in July and August and music evenings in summer; for a quiet holiday the rules themselves recommend the camping area to the north. Pets allowed on a lead. Even recently the verdict remains very good ("a corner of paradise", guests who come back), but in 2025 several guests reported chaos in pitch allocation in high season, facilities spread out over the 70 hectares and high summer prices; some note that not everyone practises nudity.
