Naturist grounds of the Spolek naturistů Ostrava, an association active for over thirty years, in an area of old quarries in Antošovice, near the Oder river: a large meadow on the shore of a quarry lake, 600 metres from the Vrbina stop of Ostrava's public transport. It bills itself as a "retro osada" (retro settlement): no electricity for tents and caravans, dry toilets, a kiosk selling drinks and snacks in high season powered by a generator, a large communal fire pit and a play corner for children. You can camp with a tent, caravan or motorhome at very low prices, paying in cash; non-members get in as day guests without booking. Nudity is the rule for everyone, except for health reasons: swimsuits stay at home even for going to the kiosk, and you always sit on your own towel. Photographing people is forbidden; dogs must be kept on a lead and are not allowed on the beach. Opinions are divided: some appreciate the peace, the greenery and the friendly people, while others complain about murky water, a poorly maintained shore and awkward access to the water, the noise from the nearby motorway and, recently, brusque manners at the entrance. It is a simple, spartan place, for those looking for nature and community rather than facilities.
