A boutique naturist resort set in a restored Apulian masseria (farmhouse) in Serranova di Carovigno, in the heart of Apulia between Brindisi and Ostuni. Run by Martine and Pierre, it has thirteen apartments in local style — all with a kitchen and a large terrace — spread across a one-hectare park with centuries-old olive trees, citrus trees and Aleppo pines. It takes its name from the two natural caves on the property, now turned into a wellness area with a sauna, hot and cold baths and a space for yoga. There is a pool heated to 29°, a hot tub at 32° on an island among the flowers, a lounge bar, massages (including watsu) and aqua aerobics; in summer there are social evenings, tastings of Apulian wines, naturist boat trips and visits to the historic towns of the area. Open from 1 May to 21 October. Guests speak of it enthusiastically and keep coming back to the owners' hospitality and the meticulous care of the place; it is a quiet spot with no entertainment programme, but with a weekly schedule of social evenings (Apulian wine tasting on Tuesdays, a buffet of traditional cuisine on Thursdays) that brings together guests from many countries. Children are welcome too. The house naturist charter requires complete nudity throughout the resort, mandatory at the pool, and forbids swimsuits and thongs; clothing is worn only when the weather or hygiene and safety reasons require it.
