Résidence Coccinelle

Small residence of self-contained units on the Corniche de l'Arbousier, in the Héliopolis naturist domaine on the Île du Levant, facing south and surrounded by greenery, five minutes' walk from the sea and three from the shops, with views of Port-Cros and Porquerolles. The villas Le Cigalon and Le Mérou and the bungalow Le Papillon are for rent, each for one or two people, with a 160 cm bed, equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and WC, Wi-Fi and a private sea-view terrace; there is also a large shared terrace. The residence is aimed at naturists: the owners say so openly, and suggest the more secluded units to anyone who fears feeling uncomfortable with nudity. The tone is that of a quiet retreat, with no television and no hurry. Those who have stayed remember above all the silence, the sunsets, the comfortable beds and, often, the welcome; not everyone does, though: some complain of cramped bathrooms, smells from the drains, no air conditioning and an unfriendly welcome.
